Slow Cooker Cheesy Mushroom Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 pound white mushrooms, sliced
  • 5 large yukon gold potatoes, quartered and sliced
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

    Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs 10 mins

    Ready Time: 4 hrs 30 mins

  • heat olive oil and 1 teaspoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. cook and stir mushrooms in butter until tender and browned, about 10 minutes.
  • stir cooked mushrooms, potatoes, cheddar cheese, milk, onion, 2 tablespoons butter, garlic salt, and black pepper together in a slow cooker.
  • cook on high until potatoes are tender and cheddar cheese is melted, about 4 hours.
