Easy And Tasty Granny Smith Cake

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

• 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix (i use duncan hines)
• 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
• 1/3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
• 1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
• 2 granny smith apples
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 2 tablespoons cinnamon
• 1 (8 ounce) container heavy whipping cream (i think it's 8oz, the standard size in the dairy section)

Recipe

• 1 prepare yellow cake mix according to directions, including greasing your cake pan.
• 2 pour into pan.
• 3 peel and chop apples.
• 4 toss apples in sugar/cinnamon mixture until coated.
• 5 drop apples into cake mixture.
• 6 pour heavy whipping cream over cake mixture.
• 7 bake according to directions on cake mix box.
• 8 serve with whipped cream and or ice cream.
