Easy Aloha Chicken - D

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped fresh pineapple
  • 3/4 cup bottled barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 1/2 lbs chicken wings, about 20

Recipe

  • 1 combine pineapple, barbecue sauce, soy sauce and ginger in large, shallow, non-metallic dish.
  • 2 add chicken, turning to coat all sides.
  • 3 cover, marinate 15 minutes in refrigerator.
  • 4 grill or broil chicken 15 to 20 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink, brushing occasionally with marinade and turning once halfway through cooking.
  • 5 discard any remaining marinade.
  • 6 garnish with pineapple wedges and leaves, if desired.
