Easy Almond Sticky Buns

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 (8 ounce) packages crescent roll dough
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 cup almonds, chopped
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 -3 teaspoons milk
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 375 degrees f.
- 2 combine brown sugar, flour, softened butter, milk, and 1/8 tsp almond extract, and blend well.
- 3 spoon this mixture into 12 ungreased muffin cups.
- 4 unroll crescent dough into 4 rectangles.
- 5 combine melted butter and 1/8 tsp almond extract.
- 6 brush dough and sprinkle with almonds.
- 7 starting at the short side, roll each rectangle up like a jelly roll.
- 8 cut each roll into 3 pieces and place them cut side down in muffin cups.
- 9 bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
- 10 immediately invert serving platter.
- 11 combine glaze ingredients while rolls are baking, and drizzle over warm sticky buns.
