Molasses-ginger Carrots

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 lb carrot, peeled and sliced

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in heavy saucepan.
  • 2 stir in remaining ingredients.
  • 3 add enough water to cover carrots and bring to boil.
  • 4 reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until liquid is reduced, 10 minutes.
