Home Canned Whole Cranberry Sauce

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 3/4 cups sugar
  • 6 cups water
  • 12 cups fresh cranberries

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar and the water in a 8 quart kettle.
  • 2 stir till sugar is dissolved.
  • 3 heat mixture to boiling. boil 5 minutes.
  • 4 add the 12 cups of cranberries.
  • 5 cook until skins pop, about 5 minutes.
  • 6 remove from heat.
  • 7 pack into hot jars leaving a 1/2 inch head space.
  • 8 adjust the lids.
  • 9 process in water bath for 5 minutes.
