Easy Apple Dumplings

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 5 winesap apples
  • 10 canned refrigerated biscuits
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 peel, half and core apples.
  • 2 roll out refrigerator biscuits to about 6 to 7" in diameter.
  • 3 place one apple half in center of each biscuit and wrap ends over top.
  • 4 heat water, sugar, butter and cinnamon until butter melts.
  • 5 pour over biscuit-wrapped apples and bake at 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • 6 baste with juice every 15 minutes.
