Easy Calamari Style With Lime Vinaigrette

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 500 g squid, tubes
  • 125 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 bunch fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons light brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 calamari:.
  • 2 slice squid tubes in to rings.
  • 3 combine flour and seasoning in a ziploc bag and toss.
  • 4 deep fry for 30/40 seconds.
  • 5 vinaigrette:.
  • 6 in a food processor, process everything except the oil.
  • 7 slowly drizzle in the oil until emulsified.
  • 8 add chopped coriander.
  • 9 place into a bowl for 30mins for the flavours to develop.
  • 10 serve on the side or drizzle some of the vinaigrette over the calamari.
