Easy Caramel Sauce

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar (white)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe
- 1 place the white sugar and brown sugar into a heavy saucepan.
- 2 pour the water into the centre, then make a large x across the sugar with your fingertip to let the water seep through.
- 3 note ~ do not stir.
- 4 turn up the heat to medium-high and bring to a boil. without stirring, boil for 8 minutes.
- 5 remove caramel from heat and once cooled, beat in yoghurt and vanilla extract.
