Easiest Ever Hollandaise Sauce

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 lemon, juice of (1-1/2 tablespoons)
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash white pepper
  • 3 egg yolks

Recipe

  • 1 cut the butter into several pieces and bring to room temperature.
  • 2 in the top of a double boiler, combine egg yolks, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  • 3 add a piece of butter.
