E-z Pound Cake

Ingredients

• Servings: 12
• 1/2 lb real butter (1 c.)
• 1 2/3 cups sugar
• 5 large eggs
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon mace

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees f.
• 2 butter and flour 1 loaf pan.
• 3 cream butter and slowly add sugar.
• 4 beat until light and fluffy.
• 5 add egg one at a time and beat well each time.
• 6 stir in flour and rest of dry ingredients.
• 7 pour into pan.
• 8 bake 1 1/2 hours.
• 9 cool in the pan for 5 minutes before turning out unto a baking rack.
• 10 serve in very thin slices.
