Dutch Lamb Chops

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 lamb chops (bone in is better, but can also be made with boneless)
- salt
- pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped sweet onion
- 1 (16 ounce) can bavarian sauerkraut (drained, but not rinsed)
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup
- 1 -2 tablespoon olive oil
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle lamb chops with salt and pepper.
- 2 heal olive oil in frying pan until hot.
- 3 add lamb chops and brown on one side.
- 4 flip chops and add onion.
- 5 when browned on second side, and onion is translucent, add saurkraut and tomato soup.
- 6 turn down heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, turning chops over in sauce every so often.
- 7 serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
- 8 tastes even better when served the next day.
