Dutch Sugar Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crusts
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 425°f
  • 2 combine ingredients thoroughly using whisk and then pour into pie shell. dot the top with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and dust with white sugar.
  • 3 bake at 425°f for 10 minutes, then reduce the oven to 325°f, and bake for 45-55 minutes longer. you might want to wrap the edges of the pie crust with foil to prevent excessive browning.
  • 4 cool and refrigerate completely before cutting as it firms up as it sits and cools.
