East-west Asparagus Salad

Total Time: 7 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 cook asparagus in boiling water 2 minutes, or until just cooked. drain.
  • 2 immediately rinse asparagus under cold running water until it has cooled. drain well.
  • 3 combine asparagus in a bowl with remaining ingredients.
