Dolly Parton Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 3 cups sifted flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
• 2 cups butter, softened
• 2 large egg yolks

Recipe

• 1 cream sugar and butter in a medium-size bowl.
• 2 beat in eggs, then flour and lemon peel. knead gently together. don't overwork the dough, but make sure it's consistent.
• 3 chill dough for 3 hours.
• 4 preheat oven to 350'f.
• 5 roll out dough with rolling pin.
• 6 cut into shapes and place on greased cookie sheets.
• 7 bake until tops get pinkish-brown, about 8 minutes.
