Seared Brussels Sprouts Braised With Apple Cider

- 12 large brussels sprouts
- 1/4 cup apple cider
- cooking oil
- salt
Recipe
- 1 trim brussels sprouts and cut in half. heat a cast iron pan over medium flame. add some oil.
- 2 sprinkle salt over the bottom of the pan. lay brussels sprouts, cut side down, in the pan.
- 3 cook until deep brown, about 5 minutes.
- 4 add apple cider, cover pan, and turn off heat. let them continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
