Seared Brussels Sprouts Braised With Apple Cider

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 12 large brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 cup apple cider
  • cooking oil
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 trim brussels sprouts and cut in half. heat a cast iron pan over medium flame. add some oil.
  • 2 sprinkle salt over the bottom of the pan. lay brussels sprouts, cut side down, in the pan.
  • 3 cook until deep brown, about 5 minutes.
  • 4 add apple cider, cover pan, and turn off heat. let them continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
