- 1 1/2 cups onions, thinly sliced
- 6 cups beef broth
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated
- 6 slices french bread, toasted
Recipe
- 1 mix first 3 ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
- 2 divide soup into 6 ovenproof bowls.
- 3 top each with a slice of toasted french bread and 1/2 ounce of cheese.
- 4 broil until cheese is melted.
