Red Onion Marmalade

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 red onions
  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 slice both red onions into ½ inch thick slices. place vinegar and sugar in a large skillet over medium heat and bring to a simmer. once sugar is completely dissolved, add the onions. cook, stirring occasionally, for twenty minutes until the onions are caramelized and liquid is reduced. set aside to cool.
