Double Chocolate Cream Cheese Swirl Bars

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°.
- 2 combine margarine, water and unsweetened chocolate in saucepan, bringing mixture to a boil.
- 3 remove from heat and stir in flour, 2 cups sugar, baking soda and salt.
- 4 add 2 eggs and sour cream; mix well.
- 5 pour into a greased & floured 15x10-inch jellyroll pan.
- 6 combine cream cheese and 1/3 cup sugar; blend in egg. mix well.
- 7 spoon over the chocolate batter. then cut through with a knife creating a marbled effect.
- 8 sprinkle chocolate chips.
- 9 bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean.
- 10 let cool before cutting into bars.
