Strawberry Margarita Freeze

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 1 1/2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup strawberry, crushed
  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed
  • strawberry (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 mix pretzels and melted butter and press firmly onto bottom of a 9" springform pan or 9" round cake pan. (kraft suggests lining the bottom of the pan with plastic wrap before using for easy removal of the dessert, but i didn't bother.).
  • 2 beat cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  • 3 gradually add orange juice, beating well after each addition.
  • 4 stir in crushed strawberries.
  • 5 add whipped topping and stir with wire whisk until well blended.
  • 6 pour over crust.
  • 7 freeze 3 hours or so until firm.
  • 8 let stand in refrigerator 15 minutes before cutting and serving.
  • 9 garnish with halved strawberries just before serving.
