Neiman Marcus Red Onion Marmalade

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 cups red onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place the onions in a heavy-bottomed saucepan and add the vinegar, honey, salt and pepper.
  • 2 bring to a simmer over medium heat and continue to simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the liquid has evaporated.
