Doves In Cornbread Stuffing, Altered To Our Liking!!

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onion
  • 2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley
  • 2 (8 1/2 ounce) boxes jiffy cornbread mix, prepared and crumbled
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 boneless skinless dove breasts, chopped finely

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 lightly grease 2 quart casserole, set aside.
  • 3 in medium skillet cook and stir dove, celery, onion and parsley in butter over medium heat until tender.
  • 4 add remaining stuffing ingriedients, mix until moistened.
  • 5 bake covered one hour.
