Easy Apple Pie With Graham Crust

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (8 inch) prepared graham cracker crusts (use keebler for this)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 (19 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, divided
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 brush the bottom and sides of the crust with egg yolk and discard any leftover yolk.
  • 2 place the crust on a baking sheet.
  • 3 bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes.
  • 4 in a medium bowl combine the pie filling with 1/2 cup chopped pecans, then spread into the pie crust.
  • 5 in a small saucepan combine the remaining 1/2 cup pecans, brown sugar and butter; cook over medium heat until boiling, immediately spread over the pie filling.
  • 6 bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly.
  • 7 let cool slightly before serving.
