Dragon Noodles

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, instead
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • i used 2 tbls. soy sauce
  • 2 sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup parsley, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 cook linguine according to package.
  • 2 while noodles are cooking prepare the sauce by mixing together the brown sugar, soy sauce in a small bowl and set aside to be used at the very end.
  • 3 in a large skillet melt butter over medium/low heat. add the cayenne pepper to the butter as it melts.
  • 4 whisk the eggs in a small bowl and then add it to the skillet with the melted butter.
  • 5 stir and cook as if making scrambled eggs.
  • 6 then turn off heat.
  • 7 when linguine is done cooking, drain and add to the skillet with the cooked eggs.
  • 8 also add the prepared sauce mixture.
  • 9 turn the heat back onto low and stir everything to coat well and evaporate excess liquid.
  • 10 sprinkle with green onions and parsley.
  • 11 serve warm.
