Dillsas (dill Sauce)

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups chicken stock (or other stock that suits the rest of your meal)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
- salt
Recipe
- 1 in a small saucepan, melt butter.
- 2 add flour and stir until well blended.
- 3 add stock gradually while whisking constantly, then cook over meduim low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4 add the dill, sugar, and vinegar.
- 5 remove from heat and stir in the egg yolk.
- 6 season to taste and serve immediately.
