Dilled Carrots

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 lb carrot, cut into 2 x 1/4 inch strips
- 1 cup sliced celery (1/2 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons sliced green onions
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
Recipe
- 1 bring broth to a boil in large saucepan.
- 2 add remaining ingredients except parsley.
- 3 cover; reduce heat to medium.
- 4 cook 10 to 15 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
- 5 drain.
- 6 sprinkle with parsley.
