Dilled Green Peas (tilliherneet)

Ingredients

- 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen green peas
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped shallots or 2 tablespoons green onions
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 2 tablespoons chopped pimiento
- 1 cup shredded jarlsberg cheese
Recipe
- 1 cook peas as package directs.
- 2 melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
- 3 add shallots or green onions; saute 2 minutes or until soft.
- 4 stir in hot cooked peas, dill and pimiento.
- 5 pour into a serving dish; sprinkle with cheese over top.
- 6 serve immediately.
