Doris's Crockpot Lamb Stew

Total Time: 5 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 5 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs lamb, cubed into 1-inch pieces
  • 0.5 (1 1/4 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/8 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup tapioca

Recipe

  • 1 trim fat from lamb cubes. place in crock pot. add remaining ingredients and mix. cook on high 1 hour, then on low 8-9 hours, or keep it on high 4-5 hours. serve over noodles or rice. you can also mix in veggies during the last few minutes of cooking.
