Pan-fried Potatoes

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 5 -6 potatoes, sliced (peel-on optional)
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons bacon fat
  • 1 -2 tablespoon paprika
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet, melt bacon fat.
  • 2 add onions and saute 2-3 minutes.
  • 3 add potatoes, salt, and paprika (there should be enough to make potatoes almost orange).
  • 4 fry, covered, over medium heat until soft and tender.
  • 5 if it starts sticking and forming a crust on the bottom, turn the heat down and add a little water.
