Sautéed Apples

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 5 lbs apples
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup wine

Recipe

  • 1 peel the apples, cored them and cut into slices.
  • 2 sautee in butter and sprinkle with sugar until they are delicately brown and caramelized.
  • 3 after caramelizing add wine and cook for 5 minutes.
  • 4 you can serve plain or sprinkle with cinnamon and a dab of whipped cream.
