Lemon Honey Butter Tarts

Ingredients

  • Servings: 18
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 18 (2 inch) unbaked tart shells

    Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins Ready Time: 50 mins

  • preheat oven to 375 degrees f (190 degrees c).
  • beat eggs in a large bowl. stir in brown sugar, honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. blend in melted butter. fill tart shells halfway.
  • bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown, and filling is set.
