Homemade Amaretto Almond Liqueur

Ingredients
- 1 cup light karo syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups vodka
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 -1 1/2 tablespoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup whole almond
Recipe
- 1 place the karo syrup and sugar in a saucepan and dissolve together over medium heat until well combined.
- 2 cool about 15 minutes.
- 3 add the rest of the ingredients, stirring well.
- 4 pour into a jar or bottle and let sit for about 2 weeks in a dark spot until well blended.
