Ingredients

- 4 pears
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 1/2 cup dry wine
Recipe
- 1 wash the pears.
- 2 do not peel them.
- 3 place in a saucepan.
- 4 add the remaining ingredients.
- 5 cover and heat the pan over medium flame for 5-7 minutes.
- 6 reduce heat to low.
- 7 cook for 20 minutes or until pears are soft when pierced with a fork.
- 8 chill in sauce and serve with ice cream!
