Maple- Nut-raisin Muffins

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon bisquick baking mix
  • 1 teaspoon soft butter or 1 teaspoon margarine
  • 2 cups bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon maple extract
  • 1 egg

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 400°f.
  • 2 grease bottoms of 12 muffin cups with spray or shortening or you can use paper baking cups.
  • 3 in a small bowl mix the topping ingredients and set aside.
  • 4 in a large bowl stir the muffin ingredients until just moistened.
  • 5 spoon evenly in muffin pans
  • 6 sprinke with topping.
  • 7 bake 15-18 minute or until golden brown.
  • 8 cool slightly and remove from pan to cooling rack.
  • 9 serve warm.
