Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 melt butter over medium-high heat.
- 2 add sugar and stir to dissolve.
- 3 allow sugar to caramelize, stirring constantly.
- 4 when sugar is golden brown, pour in lemon juice.
- 5 mixture will boil furiously and sugar will seize.
- 6 don't be alarmed!
- 7 continue to stir and sauce will thicken.
