Donna's Caramel Corn

Ingredients
- 4 quarts popped corn (about 2 microwave bags)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup karo
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
Recipe
- 1 in a heavy pan, combine sugar, margarine, butter and karo syrup.
- 2 bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes stirring.
- 3 stir in baking soda. this will cause a foaming effect.
- 4 pour over popped corn. stir until corn is well covered.
- 5 spread on a prepared surface and let cool.
- 6 break apart and store in an airtight container.
