Down-home Chicken & Noodle Soup

Total Time: 6 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 (16 ounce) package wide egg noodles, cooked

Recipe

  • 1 place chick in a slow cooker; sprinkle with salt and peper.
  • 2 top with both cans of soup.
  • 3 cover and cook on low setting for 6 hours or until chicken falls apart.
  • 4 remove chicken from slow cooker and shred.
  • 5 return chicken to slow cooker; add broth and cooked noodles.
  • 6 mix well.
  • 7 cover and cook on low setting for an additional 30 minutes or until heated through.
