Doves In Cornbread Stuffing

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion
- 2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 cups cornbread stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 8 whole boneless dove breasts
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350°f.
- 2 lightly grease a 2 quart casserole dish.
- 3 over medium heat, cook and stir celery, onions, and parsley in butter until tender.
- 4 add stuffing mix and remaining ingredients (except dove breast).
- 5 mix until moist.
- 6 place half of mixture in the bottom of casserole dish.
- 7 arrange breasts on top.
- 8 cover breasts completely with remaining stuffing mixture.
- 9 bake uncovered until tender.
- 10 about 1 hour.
