Doreen's Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups warm milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 7 1/2 cups flour (approximate)
Recipe
- 1 combine yeast, water, and a little of the sugar in a small bowl.
- 2 mix sugar, milk, eggs, butter, and salt in a large bowl.
- 3 after yeast has risen a little, add to milk mixture.
- 4 gradually add flour until a soft but not-too-sticky dough has formed.
- 5 knead 6-7 minutes.
- 6 let dough rise in buttered bowl until doubled in size.
- 7 punch dough down and divide into three balls.
- 8 roll out each ball into a flat circle and cut into 8 triangles to make crescent-style rolls.
- 9 let them rise again, about 40 minutes.
- 10 bake at 400 degrees for approximately 12 minutes, depending on the size of the rolls.
