- 4 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter (real butter is best)
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup corn syrup
- ground cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 place all ingredients in heavy saucepan and bring to a boil.
- 2 cook until candy reaches soft ball stage (it's best to use a candy thermometer) cool slightly and beat until stiff.
- 3 allow to cool completely.
- 4 roll into rolls.
- 5 roll ropes in cinnamon.
